Beatriz Cornejo was born in Mexico City and has lived the last 12 years on the island of Cozumel. Beatriz was raised in a family that loved art, music and culture and began painting after her move to Cozumel. Beatriz is inspired by nature, her love of animals, and her love of color. Her work is whimsical and each painting is named to match the look and feeling of the work. Her work is in many homes in Cozumel, as well as the US. She has a line of bags and T-shirts.
Beatriz is much loved in her community and has been blessed to have a huge following of her art.
